The small resort town of Debre Zeit (or Bishoftu) is situated 42 km or only one hour’s drive south east of Addis Ababa, at an altitude of 1,900m.a.s.l. The town enjoys a warm climate. It is surrounded by a serious of lovely creator lakes, full of birdlife, and is excellent for walking.
