Ambo is a small town located 125kms. West of Addis Ababa and it is the home of the very popular bottled Ambo Mineral water. From this town you can continue to visit the beautiful volcanic Creator Lake, Wonchi and its gorgeous surrounding landscape. The lake is accessible only after half an hour horse riding or lengthy trekking on a muddy dirt road. There is an old and historical monastery in the island of this lake. The spectacular Guder falls and its vineyard is another stunning place to be visited in this Route.
